Indians Fall to Hutchinson

The Indians would fight back in the remaining ten minutes before the break and managed to outscore Hutchinson 23-14 to cut the deficit to 11.

Meanwhile the Blue Dragons shot 39.4% (13 for 34) from the floor and 10-of-22 (45.5%) from long range.

After a quick miss by the Indians to start the second half, Hutchinson picked up where they left off by hitting a three to open up the scoring.

With 12 minutes left in the game, Hutchinson guard Landon Wagler hit a three to put the Blue Dragons by 20. Wagler would finish the night as the leading scorer for Hutchinson with 20 points.

With five minutes left in the game, Greedy Williams made a layup cut the Hutchinson lead down to 10. The Indians' sophomore guard would go on to finish as the game's highest-scorer with 22.
The Indians held the hometown favorite to just one long range bucket during that ten-minute span and even held the Blue Dragons scoreless for a four-minute period to draw within five, 71-66.
However, with 2:13 remaining, the Blue Dragons' Kernan Bundy hit his only bucket of the night, a three-pointer to extend his team's lead back out to eight.
