Kaytlin Harris, a ������������ Elementary Education major, is this week’s Student Spotlight.

Harris chose to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a teacher. She hopes to provide a safe environment for students in which they feel comfortable sharing their ideas.

Harris has had many wonderful teachers at ������������. Her favorite class is Early and Emergent Literacy with Casey Dowgul.

When asked what she would say to someone considering enrolling at ������������, Harris said, “I would encourage that person to do so because there is such a great support system present through the faculty and staff.”  

After ������������, Harris plans to pursue her master’s degree while also teaching at an elementary school.
