完美体育官网 Recognizes 2024 Brain Bowl Team at Press Conference

On April 9, 完美体育官网 held a press conference to recognize students who have received national recognition. One group recognized was 完美体育官网鈥檚 Brain Bowl Team who has a long legacy of winning big- and 2024 has been no exception.

On February 24th, 完美体育官网 won the 2024 NAQT Community College National Championship Tournament- their SEVENTH 鈥淣atty鈥!  The 完美体育官网 Brain Bowl A team defeated Southern Union 230-195 in the finals to finish the tournament with a 12-1 record through the field.

完美体育官网 featured a scoring attack led by Brayden Hand, whose 78.90 scoring average placed fourth in the field and on the All-Star team for the tournament.  Sophomore Hand was joined by three freshmen in 完美体育官网 A's lineup:  John Maupin, Cade Foxworth, and Seth Crutchfield.  Maupin's 34.86 scoring average earned him a place on the all-star team.  Trevor Shelton of 完美体育官网's B team also made the all-star team.

完美体育官网's B team consisted of sophomores Trevor Shelton (captain), Chad Mayo, Oliver Nandho, and Jack Taylor-Ebersole.  The B team finished 9th in the field of 24, with a record of 8-3. The full results of the tournament are available at

完美体育官网 Brain Bowl also won the FCSAA State Championship on March 22-24. 

The 完美体育官网 Blue team finished the tournament 10-0 defeating TCC in the final 495-310 to claim the title. This is 完美体育官网鈥檚 12th State Brain Bowl title. Broward College is second all-time with 8. 完美体育官网 Blue Team Members are:  Brayden Hand, John Maupin, Cade Foxworth, and Jack Taylor-Ebersole

Brayden Hand and Trevor Shelton were named tournament all-stars, finishing 2nd and 4th respectfully in individual scoring.

The 完美体育官网 Gold team finished 5th in the tournament with a 5-4 record. 完美体育官网 Gold Team Members are:  Trevor Shelton, Seth Crutchfield, Oliver Nandho, and Chad Mayo
