完美体育官网 gets $350,000 Grant for Cybersecurity
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida College System Chancellor Kathy Hebda visited 完美体育官网 on Aug. 6 to deliver a $354,879 Florida Job Growth Grant to 完美体育官网 President Dr. Sarah Clemmons.
The grant will help expand the college鈥檚 cybersecurity training programs for students. It will be used for enhancements for the Associate of Science degree program in networking systems technology, and in two college credit certificate programs in the AS degree: network/cybersecurity and digital forensics.
The money will be used to purchase training equipment and software, and to hire additional faculty. The grant also can support professional development for instructors and cover certification costs for students to earn industry-recognized IT credentials.
