������������ recently announced Cornelius Clark as Faculty/Administrator/Other Professional of the Year and Linda Morales as Career Employee of the Year for 2023.

Cornelius Juan Clark was recognized as the Faculty/Administrator/Other Professional of the Year for 2023 at the end of year luncheon back on May 3^rd .

Dr. Clark serves as an Assistant Professor in the school of Education and has work at the college since 2019. Dr. Clark goes out of his way to ensure students', faculty, and the department's success. As a teacher, Dr. Clark consistently receives high praise from his students for his engaging lectures, challenging assignments, and thoughtful feedback.

“Dr. Clark exhibits creativity, leadership, empathy, curiosity, and passion for education on a daily basis,” says Dr. Mackenzie Johnson, his colleague.  “He is consistent in his teaching approach and expectations, ensuring that all students receive the same level of instruction and support.”

Linda Morales was chosen as Career Employee of the Year for 2023 during a very heartfelt moment after the Independence Day Photo on June 28^th .

As Departmental Staff Assistant for the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, Linda is responsible for administrative support to the administration, staff and faculty of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.  In addition, she assists the ������������ BSU in community service projects, serves the Spanish Cultural Club, the Brain Bowl and most any other club on campus! Linda provides Spanish tutoring when students need assistance- and has been doing all of this since she began working at ������������ in 2015.

 “Linda is one of the kindest, hardworking, most professional people I’ve ever worked with. Our job would not be possible without her. She is 100% dependable and up for any task asked of her,” says colleague Stephanie Ward, Assistant Professor of Mathematics. “She has a heart for ������������ and truly cares about the people she works with. I am always glad to see her smiling face every day!”

The Employee of the Year award recognizes the exceptional work of ������������'s employees. Candidates are nominated by fellow employees for exhibiting courtesy, motivation and professionalism. Annual winners receive a $1,000 bonus, reserved parking for a year, a one-year membership in AFC, and a $100 gift certificate from the college Book Store.
